Formerly the Royal Maritime Auxiliary Service Cockchafer, she was built in 1973. In 2007 she was renamed Fyne Spirit and underwent conversion into a luxury cruise vessel. In 2011 she was sold and renamed Polaris 1


The size of the Polaris offers a very personal form of expedition cruising, but with the luxury of larger cruise ships.


She has excellent viewing platforms where you will be able to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and watch for whales, seals and walrus.
